See who is using your workspace: session activity

Who actually uses the apps you built? The Activity tab in the Admin Console answers that at a glance: how many people signed in this week, who is signed in right now, and which apps get the most working time. Admins see it for their own workspace; nobody outside the workspace does.
Open the Activity tab
- In the Admin Console, open Activity (in the Access group, next to Users).
- Pick the period — the last 7, 30 or 90 days. Days are counted in UTC.
- Press Refresh to re-read the numbers; the Updated time beside it tells you when they were computed.
What the tiles mean

Below the tiles, the Per day chart shows sign-ins and active members for each day, How sessions ended shows why sessions closed (signed out, signed in elsewhere, idle timeout, expired, password changed, account deleted), and Browsers lists the browsers people signed in with.
By member
One row per member: sign-ins, last sign-in, active days, active time, how many apps they used, their last activity, and a green dot when they are signed in right now. Someone who was active in the period but has since left the workspace still appears, marked No longer a member. Click a column heading to sort — for example by Active time to see who works in the apps the most.
By app
One row per app: active members, sessions, active days, active time and last activity. An app that has been deleted still shows its past activity, marked Deleted app. Sort by Active members to see which apps the team relies on.
What is recorded, and for how long
- Each session's start and end, with the reason it ended, the browser type and the country of the connection — never the IP address.
- Which apps a session used on which day, noted at most once a minute.
- The operator of your Sheetward installation sets how long these records are kept (the default is just over a year); older records are deleted automatically.
- Standalone apps exported from Sheetward record nothing.
Good to know
- Sheetward allows one active session per account: when someone signs in on a second device, the first is signed out and shows up as Signed in elsewhere.
- A workspace admin can set an idle timeout under Security; sessions that hit it show up as Idle timeout.
- Active time measures work in apps, not time at the desk — a member who has an app open but does nothing is not counted as active.
- Only workspace Admins can open the Activity tab. Members and Builders never see other people's activity.
- The operator of the installation sees the same numbers per workspace, never per member.
