Turn your spreadsheet into a web app

Your workbook already describes how your process works — an expense claim, a purchase order, a timesheet. Upload it, and Sheetward builds a working web app from that App Specification. Your team signs into forms with the right field types, dropdowns and rules already in place. No code to write, no prompt to craft.
Create the app
- On My Apps, click New app and choose your `.xlsx` or `.ods` workbook or Google Sheets.
- Review what Sheetward detected — the forms, fields and data types — and pick any additional languages for the app.
- Click Create app. Your web app is ready right away.
- Click Open App and start entering records with the web forms. A new app starts empty, ready for real data.
What does each sheet become?
Sheetward reads the sheets in your workbook and turns each kind into a part of the app:

Good to know
- The workbook is a blueprint, not your data. Sheetward builds the app from its structure, so a new app starts empty.
- Want to bring existing data in? Use the Import feature. To get the correct layout for your import file, click Export and save the file first.
- In a brand new app with no records, that export file has only the field headings — fill in your data under them and import it back.
- Need to change the design later? Edit the workbook and re-upload it through Change app.
