Workspaces and apps: how your Sheetward account is organised

Think of a workspace as your team's office and each app as one tool inside it. The workspace is your account on Sheetward: it holds everything your organisation builds and uses. Each app is a single tool — an expense tracker, a purchase-order log, a timesheet. Sheetward generates it from one Excel or Google Sheets workbook: your App Specification. One workspace can hold many apps, so your whole team works in one place with one sign-in.
Workspace or app — which is which?

Good to know
- You sign in once to a workspace and move between its apps from My Apps.
- One person can be a member of several workspaces — handy if you work with more than one organisation.
- By default you can be the admin of only one workspace. Some plans allow running multiple workspaces — for example separate Dev, Staging and Prod — see the KB article Set up separate Dev, Staging and Prod workspaces.
