Admin console & plans
When you sign up and create a workspace you choose a plan — and you can change it anytime. Teammates you invite join your workspace and share its plan. If you're a workspace admin, the Admin console link in the top bar is your control room:
- Usage — live meters showing where you stand against your plan: users, apps, standalone apps, your two storage caps (Database and File storage) and monthly bandwidth.
- Plans — compare and switch plans, each with monthly and annual pricing and any intro offer or running promotion. You can move annual→annual anytime; annual→monthly only in the last 30 days of the term. Your limits and price are the terms you subscribed under. If a plan's terms change later, existing workspaces keep theirs (improvements may be rolled out to everyone).
- Billing — your current plan, the amount due, the renewal date, and your payment and billing history.
- Branding — put your company logo in the top banner (PNG/JPG/WebP/GIF, up to 1 MB).
- Data — storage use with a per-app record breakdown, plus Backup workspace: download one
.zipof every app's data — records and master data (lookup tables) — named after your workspace. Restore from file loads it back safely: matching rows update, new rows are added, and nothing is ever deleted. Free on every plan, saved to your own device. The same tab holds the recycle bin for deleted apps and, on annual plans that include them, scheduled hosted backups you can restore from. - Users — invite people and set each member's role.
- Transfers — copy an app (and optionally its data) to another workspace. Both workspaces' admins must agree before anything moves.
- Audit log — a searchable, exportable history of admin actions, so you can always answer "who changed that, and when?"
- Housekeeping — one place to decide how long the workspace keeps its logs (audit, billing and payment history, messages and notifications). Set a retention window per item, purge now, or export a copy (CSV/JSON) to your own folder first. After that, purging runs itself on the schedule you set.
How limits work. Limits come in two kinds, so a busy month never costs you data: hard limits stop new activity at the cap, while soft limits warn first and give you a grace band. Existing data is always kept.
| What's counted | Kind of limit | At the cap |
|---|---|---|
| Users, apps, standalone app exports | Hard | Creating another is blocked, with a prompt to upgrade. |
| Database storage | Hard | New records can't be saved until you free space or upgrade. |
| File storage | Soft | Warns from 100%; new uploads pause only once you're well over. Existing files stay readable. |
| Bandwidth (monthly) | Soft | Warns from 100%; well over the cap, large transfers slow down. Nothing is deleted. |
Support & security. The Support link lets you message the team and, if you choose, grant read-only access for a limited time. Support can look to troubleshoot but never change anything, and sensitive fields stay masked for them. Flip an app tile's Sensitive data toggle to block support from opening that app at all. With operator field encryption on, SSN and card values are stored encrypted — unreadable even with direct access to the database.
For now, billing is simulated: switching plans takes effect immediately, makes no real charge, and no payment method is stored.
