When an app is ready to live beyond Sheetward, an owner of the app can take it along. Export as Standalone App (owners only) downloads a self-contained copy of the app — its design, its records and a small program that runs it — ready to deploy anywhere you choose. Publishing marks the app as Published.

- A published app can't be deleted — its standalone app may already be running somewhere else. Archive it instead when you're done with it.
- Publishing needs — and uses — an annual plan. Publishing standalone apps is an annual-billing benefit, and a standalone app is yours to keep and run outside Sheetward, so publishing one uses up the value of your annual term. It ends your money-back window, and the term isn't refunded if you cancel later. You can still cancel — cancelling stops the next renewal and runs to the end of the term you've paid for. Before your first-ever publish, Sheetward asks you to confirm this one time.
Working with many apps. Use search (name or description), filter by clicking a stat tile (Active / Published / Archived), and sort by creation date, record count, user count or rating. The grid stays quick even with hundreds of apps.
